Eyelash Extensions Volume 2D-6D
During this treatment, we carefully place a fan of 2 to 6 eyelash extensions on each individual natural eyelash hair. This allows us to create a beautiful, intense and extra full look. The curl, thickness and length of the extensions are entirely up to your wishes and your natural eyelash hairs. The treatment does not damage the natural eyelashes, provided you apply the proper aftercare guidelines. These are explained by our experienced stylist during/after the treatment.

Treatment
The stylist works with you to choose the type, curl and thickness of eyelash extensions, taking into account your wishes and what your natural lashes can bear. Then she will place the fans one by one. During the treatment you must keep your eyes closed at all times, the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind!
A new set of Volume 2D - 6D takes about 2.5 hours. The refill treatment takes an average of 1 hour.
It takes about 8 weeks until the last lash extensions have grown out. However, if you want to see continuous full results, you should come back in 2 to 4 weeks for a refill treatment.
Care
For optimal pleasure and long-lasting results from Volume 2D-6D lash extensions, we recommend appropriate aftercare.
- Make sure the extensions do not get wet during the first 24 hours after treatment. No swimming and no sauna visits. This can actually cause the adhesive to not dry properly and may become sticky.
- Avoid running water directly on your lashes.
- Allow lashes to dry naturally after showering, do not use a towel or cotton swabs as these can give off lint that sticks to the lashes. TIP! Use your hair dryer on the coldest setting.
- Try cleaning your lashes vertically. Clean them with the oil-free Lash Foam and an eyelash brush.
- Do not rub your eyes (horizontally) as this may cause the eyelashes to break.
- Carefully clean lashes with PE Cosmetics Lash Foam and/or oil-free makeup remover.
- Never remove the eyelashes yourself, always have this done at the salon. The eyelash extensions are attached with a special glue that can only be dissolved with a special gel. Do not try to do this with olive oil or other types of oil, this will cause your own eyelashes to break off.
- It is not necessary to use mascara; should you want to, always use oil-free mascara. Other mascaras will clump on the lashes because it is difficult to remove. CAUTION: Place mascara only on the end of the lashes and remove it at the end of the day.
- Remove other eye makeup such as eyeliner or pencil with our oil-free Lash Foam and/or oil-free makeup remover. Use a cotton swab for this purpose.
- Separate lashes by combing them each morning with an eyelash brush.

How many eyelash extensions are placed per eye?
Per eye, we place approximately 100 to 120 extensions. This depends on your own natural eyelashes.
Are there different curls available?
Prior to the treatment, the stylist will discuss your wishes with you. Different types of looks can be chosen, also considering the shape of your eyes and length of your own lashes.
Are eyelash extensions harmful to your own lashes?
Wimperextensions zijn absoluut niet schadelijk als het professioneel geplaatst wordt en de klant de naverzorging richtlijnen respecteert. PE Cosmetics maakt gebruik van een zachte en flexibele bonder om de wimperextensions vast te zitten. Hierdoor breken de eigen wimperharen niet af. Daarnaast is het belangrijk om:
- De wimpers de eerste 24 uur droog te houden;
- Stromend water op de extensions te voorkomen;
- Niet in de ogen te wrijven;
- De extensions verticaal te reinigen met make-up remover zonder olie.

How are the eyelash extensions attached?
We provide your natural eyelashes hair by hair with an eyelash extension. We attach the extensions with a formaldehyde-free glue specially developed for this method.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Your eyelash extensions will last 6 - 8 weeks (this means that the last hairs fall out after six to eight weeks). This is due to the natural growth cycle of your own lashes. Generally, clients come back for a refill treatment every 2 - 3 weeks.
Can you use a growth serum i.c.w. lash extensions?
PE Cosmetics' eyelash growth serum contains no hormones. It's made from a 100% natural Japanese extract which causes lashes to become fuller and longer. And you can use our eyelash growth serum while wearing eyelash extensions or Lash Volume Lift.
Which mascara is best to use for eyelash extensions?
You obviously want to keep your eyelash extensions beautiful for as long as possible. It is therefore important that you use a water-based mascara, which we have in our Care & Cosmetics line. The eyelash extensions are not resistant to oil. We also recommend that you only use mascara on the tips of the lashes, and certainly not at the roots. It is best not to apply any mascara at all, after all, eyelash extensions are placed to make mascara unnecessary.
